Loudly for Mac is in private preview. This is the current build.

Requirements

  • A Mac with Apple silicon. Intel Macs are not supported.
  • macOS 15 or later. Recording the call audio relies on it.
  • Permissions. Loudly asks for microphone and system audio access when you first record. You can check them in Settings.

Install

  1. Open the downloaded file. macOS unpacks Loudly.app next to it.
  2. Drag Loudly.app into your Applications folder and open it.
  3. Follow the short setup: audio, speech model, and optional extras.

The build is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and macOS checks it the first time you open it.

How updates arrive

Loudly checks for updates quietly and never installs one on its own. When a new version is ready it offers Install and Relaunch, and it waits until recording, dictation and note writing are finished. You can also choose Check for Updates in Settings, and read What's New in the app.

Not here yet

No Windows, no Intel Macs and no iPhone version. Private preview means features change and some rough edges remain. Tell us at support@meetloudly.com.
